Rogue Klamath River Adventures

It's almost impossible to describe what white water rafting on Oregon's Wild & Scenic rivers feels like. The exhilaration of the whitewater . . . the power of the river . . . the beauty and wildness of nature. You've got to experience it for yourself.

That's where Rogue Klamath River Adventures come in. The RKRA river guides are most knowledgeable when it comes to white water rafting on the Rogue River, Upper Klamath, Lower Klamath, Cal-Salmon, Scott, Smith, and Owyhee rivers. They're experienced, well-trained and skilled in providing you with the safest and most enjoyable rafting experience possible.

The Rivers:

The Rogue River is one of the most beautiful scenic rivers for a Oregon rafting adventure with breathtaking scenery of the forest and waterfalls as you drift down through deep green pools. The Rogue River White Water Rafting Trips are available in half day, full day or 2 day camping or lodge trips. The Rogue offers class II to IV rapids.

The Upper Klamath River is one of pacific North West's most exciting whitewater river adventure experiences. This river offers the most popular full day whitewater rafting trips available. With mild to moderate rapids at first and then everything is just a shadow from there. Many packages are available with this Oregon whitewater rafting trip.

The Lower Klamath River provides fun for young and old with mild to moderate rapids through the Otter's playpen region. This white water rafting trip can be combined with other trips. Pilot our inflatable kayaks by yourself in certain areas of the Lower Klamath for added fun to your adventure.

Cal Salmon & Scott River offers class IV and V rapids for the white water rafting professional. Separated by deep quiet pools with breathtaking scenery these trips are for experts only. Our highly experienced trained guides have many years of experience with this rafting run always making safety first.

Reservation/Cancellation/Refund Policy

Reservations are strongly encouraged for all trips. While there is frequently space available on existing half-day and full-day trips allowing for last minute additions, the only way to ensure your seat on a trip and day of your choosing is by reservation. Reservations are easy to make on-line; once you have booked on line RKRA will call you to confirm the arrangements.

A 50 % deposit is required at the time reservations are made. Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards are welcome. The balance of fare is due 48 hours prior to your departure date, either by check or your credit card will be charged for the balance.

Prices include everything you need for an outstanding day on the river. All equipment, food, guides, transportation and supplies necessary are included from the moment you are picked up until the end of your adventure. To provide all of this, though, takes planning and the expenditure of resources. In addition, there is a finite number of seats on a finite number of boats available of a finite set of dates. Your deposit ensures the planning of your trip, getting ready for your trip, and that your space on a trip is secured. Your deposit covers time, expense and lost sales opportunities for reserving your trip. Thus, your deposit is nonrefundable.

When your deposit is receved, you will be sent specific information on pick-up time, recommended clothing and other important information. Please see our "Get Ready To Raft" section, if you would like some pre-planning ideas.

To avoid paying the entire balance, written cancellation must be received from participants no later than 30 days before your trip. The deposit is non-refundable, but may be applied to another trip in the current season should you find it necessary to postpone your trip. If you do not cancel 30 days before your departure; all funds due will be forfeited.

This is especially true of trips involving overnight stays at lodges. The lodges are independently owned and very popular. They all have a "no -refund" policy for cancellations of less than 30 days and will require RKRA to pay for your room whether you use it or not.

In order to protect yourself from unexpected changes in your schedule, we recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance soon after reserving your trip. Said insurance is generally quite affordable and provides inexpensive peace of mind.

RKRA trips are rarely cancled. However, events that are out of RKRA control like weather, unusual water levels, dam controlled water releases or an insufficient number of paddlers to proceed safely. RKRA reserve the right to cancel any trip due to safety or other concerns. RKRA also reserve the right to move your trip to another river trip of comparable duration and fun should conditions warrant.

Should you wish to change the date of your trip , RKRA will do everything possible to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee we will be able to do so. A $25 per person re booking charge shall apply for all date changes.

If RKRA outright cancels your trip, you will receive all monies paid to Rogue Klamath River Adventures. This refund does not cover any other expenses incurred by the trip participants. If RKRA moves, or offers to move your trip to another river for a trip of comparable duration, there will be no adjustment of fees paid.

You will be asked to sign a liability release before starting your trip. Refusal to sign will prevent you from going rafting, and no monies will be refunded.

Receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgement that registrant has read and accepts RKRA cancellation/refund policies.
