  Located within Glacier National Park, 2 miles from West Glacier Village. The Lodge’s cabins and motel units are set amidst the old growth cedars along the southern end of Lake McDonald and the shores of McDonald Creek.

  This Lodge features 28 rustic cabins and 20 motel units, all are non-smoking with private bathrooms with shower stalls and electric heat.

  26 of the quaint and cozy cabins have kitchens with a refrigerator, stove, sink, dishes, pots and pans, silverware, toaster, coffeemaker and all linens.

  3 of the cabins, #6, #7, and #8, have back doors that open onto McDonald Creek. Other cabins have views of McDonald Creek and are steps away from Lake McDonald - one of the largest lakes in Glacier National Park.

  Granite Park Chalet

  Experience unequaled back country hospitality in one of Glacier National Park’s most panoramic and pristine wilderness environments.

  Granite Park Chalet was built in 1914 and 1915 by the Great Northern Railway to provide comfortable back country accommodations inside Glacier National Park. It was the last of the chalets built by the railroad and one of the only two back country chalets that have survived. Today this rustic lodge is listed as a National Historic Landmark and it continues to provide comfortable lodging to adventurers and visitors in the Glacier National Park wilderness.

  Lake McDonald Lodge

  This historic hunting lodge was built in 1914, nestled on the shores of the largest lake inside Glacier National Park. Lake McDonald has 100 guest rooms split between the lodge, cottages, and a motor inn and offers a unique gift shop, campstore, lounge, restaurant, and pizzeria. A number of activities are available nearby including Red Bus tours, boat cruises, hiking, rafting and fishing. 

  Main Lodge

  Towering Cedars and Cottonwood trees surround the main lodge. Lodge rooms primarily face this inland rain forest setting with obstructed views. There is no elevator but the bell staff is available to assist with luggage. Most rooms do not have an accessible exterior balcony.  All Lodge rooms have a private bathroom and parking is available in the main lot located approximately 100 yards from the Lodge.

  Duplex to Six-plex Cabins

  Located along a tree-lined pathway adjacent to the Lodge, there is a row of early 1900’s-era cabins. Most cabin rooms face the forest setting with obstructed views. Each shares a common wall and a few share a small porch. There are no connecting doors between cabin rooms. All cabin rooms have a private bathroom and parking is usually available directly behind or beside the cabin.

  Motor Inn

  The Motor Inn is comprised of two, 2-story buildings and it is tucked quaintly back in the trees near the Campstore. The Motor Inn is located about 300 yards from the Main Lodge with the 2nd level accessed via stairs only. All rooms have a private bathroom and there are no connecting rooms.  Parking is limited and available on a first come basis in front of the motor inn rooms.

  Sperry Chalet

  Sperry Chalet was built in 1913 by James J. and son Louis Hill of the Great Northern Railway, the prime developer of Glacier National Park. Listed as an Historic Landmark, these rustic buildings, built of native rock, have survived their rugged environment relatively unchanged for over 90 years.

  Opened in 1914 the main buildings consist of a two story hotel building and a kitchen/dining room building. A maintenance building and a new restroom building are located between hotel and dining room buildings. Other than a modernized kitchen and the new composting restroom facility, the interiors and exteriors are much as they were built.

  Lodge Rooms

  Re-modeled in 2013 to include four lodge rooms, the lodge room accommodation is located on the upper floor of the original Historic Lodge with a private, ground floor entrance. These Glacier National Park themed rooms include lofted ceiling, original woodwork, wireless internet, and attached bathrooms.

  Located at the front of the lodge, the Moose Room has two queen beds for sleeping up to four guests and shares a large, covered balcony. 

  Also located at the front of the lodge, the Grizzly Room has two queen beds and a daybed for sleeping up to five guests and shares a large, covered balcony with the Moose Room .  This makes them a great option for groups of up to eight traveling together.

  The Bison Lodge Room also has two queen beds, and our Deer Lodge Room has one queen bed for couples and individuals to enjoy lodge living.

  Couple Cabins

  Enjoy the ambiance of a wooded setting with our newest additions. Named after peaks or lakes in nearby Glacier National Park our McDonald and Merritt cabins are located on the edge of our property, bordering the Flathead National Forest.

  Single level, studio accommodation provides you with full bath, full kitchen and one queen bed. Hardwood floors and lofted ceilings create a comfortable yet cozy feel and with modern amenities such as high-speed internet and satellite TV throughout you can be assured of having all your needs met.

  The Merrit Cabin provides you with wheelchair access, full kitchen, ADA approved full bath design, and one queen bed.

  Lofted Cabins

  Enjoy the ambiance of a wooded setting with our newest additions. Located on the edge of our property and bordering the Flathead National Forest, these cabins are a short hike to the nearby Beaver Ponds.

  Kintla, Bowman and Stimson cabins can accommodate up to four guests with one queen bed on the upper floor and a futon bed in the living area below.

  These two-level cabins contain a full-sized kitchen and bath and a living area with futon bed and flat screen TV. Upstairs, a queen bed and private balcony provides you with comfortable accommodation overlooking the Flathead National Forest.

  Summit, Avalanche, Glacier, Iceberg, Grinnell & Alpine Cabins

  These are the largest cabins, designed and completed in 2007 with the guests in mind. They each have two bedrooms, furnished with one queen bed and equipped with ceiling fans and adjustable lighting. Kitchens are large and fully equipped, whilst the bathrooms are wonderfully designed with large mirrors, shelf space, and a full tub/shower design. The living room includes a futon couch for extra sleeping and is completed with a flat screen TV and satellite service.

  Covered decks afford views of Teakettle and Columbia Mountains from a wooded setting giving you the option to relax inside or out. Conveniently located bistro sets are included on each deck. These cabins are located overlooking the Lodge with access to the upper recreation area, trail to the Beaver Pond and the llama, Star! In addition, these cabins provide you with a charcoal grill, plenty of seating and eating areas and all bedding, linens, and bath towels are provided.

  Antelope Cabin

  This spacious, two room cabin has a cathedral ceiling and provides a rustic feel within a homely setting. The master bedroom has two queen beds and an en-suite with full bath. As with all the accommodation, bedding, linens and bath towels are provided. In the living room a fold-out futon couch and large TV fulfills your requirements for relaxing, whilst table and chairs and NEW FOR 2013, a fully functional kitchen with dishwasher, stove, refrigerator and microwave oven enables private dining. This cabin has separate parking and a secluded entrance and features a newly built front deck complete with charcoal grill and comfortable seating in a wooded setting.

  Perfect for larger families and groups an adjoining door allows the Antelope to be combined with the Bison Cabin providing accommodation for up to twelve guests. This cabin also features a wheelchair ramp.

  Bison Cabin

  The Bison Cabin is the largest cabin it has one bedroom, brand new private bathroom (refurbished December 2012), a sitting room, a complete kitchen and a living room in total. With two queen beds, the bedroom also has a bedside TV, large closets and plenty of storage space. Extra sleeping space is provided in the living room with a futon couch that folds out to a bed. A full size kitchen provides seating and comes complete with appliances and a comprehensive selection of kitchenware. NEW FOR 2013 is a refurbished bathroom with twin vanity unit and spacious prep area with a tub/shower combo.

  Sleeping four comfortably with additional space for a roll-a-way or cot, the Bison Cabin can also be combined with the Antelope through an adjoining door providing sleeping arrangements for an additional six people. This cabin has a private fenced backyard with charcoal grill, seating and eating area within a wooded setting. All bedding, linens, and bath towels are provided.

  Grizzly Cabin
